Saddlebag Lake

Just Outside Yosemite National Park

Saddlebag Lake is desolate but there are always people fishing on its banks. In the picture below you can see the lake on the right with North Peak and Mount Conness on the left.

This lake is the trail head to both of these mountains. I camp at Saddlebag Lake for an early morning hiking start for both Mount Conness and North Peak. Thispicture was taken in Yosemite National Park while climbing Mount Dana.
