North Dome

Yosemite National Park

North Dome can be seen at the East end of the valley, in Yosemite National Park. As with all of the valley's mountains, they are best seen on foot. Car views are not the greatest on the valley floor.

The trail head for this peak is the Upper Yosemite Falls trail but once you reach the falls you are only part way their. The hike to North Dome is very difficult and if you do it as a day hike plan on a very hot long day.
