The Minarets

I could look at beauty of the Minarets all day long. I have discovered that there are hiking routes that leads from Devils Postpile and passes right under the Minarets and then back to the postpile. On this trail you visit Minaret Lake, Cecile Lake, Iceberg Lake and Ediza Lake as it goes up and down on steep inclines and show fields. This is a hike I am anxious to take in the fall after much of the snow is melted. I have read that this hike has a short class 3 section.

In the summer months you may be required to park your car at Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort and take a shuttle to the trail head. The car views along the way, of the Minarets, will be spectacular.
