Dorthy Lake

Yosemite National Park

Dorthy Lake is on the very north edge of Yosemite National Park and is one of my three favorite lakes in the park. The other two are Young and Cathedral Lakes.

The Pacific Crest Trail runs right past this lake on its way from Sonora Pass to Tuolumne Meadows. On the crest trail it takes upwards of 2 days to reach this lake from Sonora Pass.
